It can be a bit scary to contemplate bringing your child to his or her first dental appointment.

But when you choose a pediatric dentist such as Dr. Christina Ramirez at Tiny Texans Pediatric Dentistry, you can rest assured you are getting a dentist and a team with the expertise and skill to deal with children—and their parents. We will do our best to ensure that every visit is pleasant and fun.

We Have a Child-Friendly Environment

From the moment your child walks through the doors of our brightly colored office, he or she will be struck by murals on the walls and the toys and games that are available. We want kids to feel comfortable when they are here—and we want them to look forward to coming back. We have several theme rooms—each based on a different city—that we are sure your children will enjoy!

Unlike many pediatric dentists, we have private examination rooms so our patients and their parents can speak with Dr. Christina without other patients looking on. Each room has its own television so kids can watch a movie while they get their teeth cleaned.

We Have State-of-the-Art Technology

Dental technology goes a long way in making our patients' experiences here more comfortable—and faster.

In addition to digital x-rays and digital sensors, we offer laser dentistry and different levels of sedation. These tools enable Dr. Christina to make more accurate diagnoses and discover problems while they are still small and easier to treat.

We Are Involved with Our Community

At Tiny Texans Pediatric Dentistry, we want to do what we can to improve the lives of our friends and neighbors in the community by supporting local organizations that need education and quality dental care. We are proud to sponsor local school and neighborhood events.

Our practice is built on a foundation of prevention, and Dr. Christina takes an active role in educating the local community about National Children’s Dental Health Month. She visits schools and daycares in the South Austin, Buda, and Kyle areas with the help of the Tooth Fairy. The importance of drinking water is emphasized at a level to which kids can relate. Dr. Christina and the Tooth Fairy talk about teeth-friendly snacks and demonstrate what to expect when visiting the dentist.
